Glycerin

INCI Glycerin

Humectant Hydration

What it is & what it does

Classic humectant that attracts water to the outer skin layers to improve softness and hydration.
Glycerin is primarily used to support hydration by helping the formula attract or retain water at the skin surface. Hydration ingredients can improve softness, comfort and the temporary appearance of plumpness, but they do not exfoliate the skin or permanently change its structure. Their performance is strongest when the overall formula also includes barrier-supporting and emollient ingredients.

Usage & cautions

No special routine restriction.
