Cleansing removes residue. A treatment is optional and needs a goal. Moisturizer supports comfort. Daytime sunscreen comes after the other skin-care steps. Follow each product’s directions.

Choose the first step, then the next. This example includes an optional treatment; it is not a personal prescription.

3. What did this show?

Order follows jobs. Removing the optional treatment does not remove cleansing, moisture or sun protection. More bottles are not automatically a better routine.
